Quality Management System

Lebedinsky GOK is a recognized leader in manufacturing of high-grade iron ore products and takes an active part in implementation of cutting-edge quality management technologies.

In 2005 towards evaluation of LGOK Quality Management System (QMS) in regard to compliance with the requirements of the international standard ISO 9001:2000 preliminary audit of the existing QMS was conducted and a number of activities were implemented focused on training and preparation of the chief managers and specialists of the Plant to the basis of internal audit procedure and Quality Management System documentation arrangement.

As a result of certified QMS audit carried out in 2007 by one of the largest worldwide certification authority BSI Management System (UK), Lebedinsky GOK was granted a Certificate of Conformance of the QMS to the requirements of the international standard ISO 9001:2000. In 2009 LGOK successfully passed recertification ISO 9001:2008 quality management system audit.

The certified Quality Management System is a vivid evidence that Lebedinsky GOK is able to effect stable supplies of the products which meet the established requirements of the customers.

Nowadays, the Quality Management System of all the enterprises of Holding Company METALLOINVEST (Lebedinsky GOK, Mikhailovsky GOK, OEMK and «Ural Steel») is certified for the compliance with the requirements of the international standard ISO 9001.
