Quality management system
Ural Steel has successfully implemented and currently uses the Quality Management System as demonstrated by the certificate from recognized German certification body “TUV CERT” Company (Brussels) which meets the requirements of International Standard ISO 9001:2000.
The production of ship-building steel grades for construction of ships, floating drilling vessels and permanent offshore platforms has been approved to meet the requirements of International Rules and Standards as demonstrated by the certificates from international certification bodies, such as:
- “Germanischer Lloyd” (Hamburg)
- “Lloyd Register of Europe, Middle East and Africa” (London)
- “Det Norske Veritas” (Oslo)
- “Russian Maritime registry of Shipping” (St.Petersburg)
- “American Bureau of Shipping” (London)
- “Russian River Register” (Moscow)
Production of plates made of structural low alloy steel grades has been approved to meet the requirements of European Directive 97/23/EC and Technical Rules AD 2000W0 for pressure vessels, as well as the requirements of Technical Rules for civil engineering products to use conformance mark UHP of German company “TUV CERT”.
